I know I have stopped myself from trying out a new recipe with the fear of how it will destroy my kitchen. I’d love to hear some of your favorite tips for making your kitchen cleanup a breeze. To get the ideas flowing here are some things I do:

  • Peel vegetables over a paper towel or directly over the trash can. Same with seeding peppers.
  • Put a paper towel over the food being heated in the microwave to prevent splatters.
  • Serve straight out of the pans on the stove instead of placing things on a plate.
  • Go through a recipe and see what pots, pans and dishes you can use to make sure you are not using more then you should.
